1st Birthday Card

Good Morning Everyone! Today starts my long awaited 4 day weekend!! Not only do I get an extra 2 days to play, but my daughter and grandkids are coming for 5 days!!! It will be a jam packed 4 days so I figured I had better get this  card posted this morning while I have a few minutes.

My Grandson turned 1 last week and of coarse I made him a card. When my kids were little I bought all the 'milestone' cards. Now when I go to make them I get excited because I can step out of the cookie cutter style and make it my own.

The details~
  • Lions ~ Animal Kingdom - Border Feature - 1.66 inches
  • Go Wild ~ Create a Critter - 1.5
  • Grass ~ Plantin School Bool - 1/2 x 5 (unlinked on the Gypsy)
  • Papers ~ Die Cuts With A View - Safari , The Paper Studio - A Day At The Beach
  • All other paper from my scrap box
  • Sentiment from my computer
When I sat back and looked at the finished card - I smiled :)  I hope you do, too !!
