Last of the Birthday Cards for Work.

Well, today is my official back to work day. I have been going in for a few hours a day for over a week, but today is my first full - 8 hour -day. I am pretty sure I will be tired when I get home :)

I am sharing the last of the Birthday Cards that I have made to take to work for my boss to give to my coworkers throughout the year. 

I used CTMH C1503 The Best Things and D1187 For Every Occasion

The flowers, ribbon and bling are from my 'collection'

My plans for next week are to have some fun 'Fall' things to share :)

Side Step Birthday Card

I don't know why, but this type of card has always intimidated me. But now, I have mastered it! It really isn't hard and makes a great impression on the person who is receiving it.

The pitcher and flowers are from Country Life cut at 3 inches and the Sentiment banner is from CTMH Art Philosophy cut at .75 inches. The sentiment is CTMH -  D1187 - For Every Occasion and the paper is Chantilly - X7163B

I am definitely going to make more of this card !

One Sheet Wonder Set of Five Cards

Well, it's back to work day for me. I have had a wonderful summer. I got much more done than I usually do and we moved my craft room to the lower level, into a much more open space. It is brighter and more organized than my spare bedroom space and I am finding it much easier to keep 'less messy'. Heehee :)  My hope is that I will be able to keep up with all the projects that I have found that I want to do for the coming months. No promises to you or to myself, but a solemn - I'll try !!
I found this idea on Pinterest, of coarse! -  HERE. I really liked the colors that she put together, but of coarse when I was ready to try it out, I had nothing even close. So I went through my umm rather large selection of pattern paper and found this. But then I couldn't make up my mind on the card base... as you will see... for me to only use 2 different colors is a pretty good thing !

The one sheet of patterned paper I used was a 6" x 6" sheet. I backed all the pieces in black. The stamps are SU and the butterflies are a SU dielet.

As with most of my projects, the hardest and most time consuming part is picking out the papers!

Cricut Artiste Birthtday Card

Good Monday morning!

After a very busy week of moving my craft room, going to the local fair with my daughters and grand kids and a family get together, I have a quick and easy card for you.

Card Holder Birthday Cards

Good Morning! Today I am showing the first set of cards that go with this cute Card Holder.

I am starting with the Birthday cards, All the papers, except the white, are from the Dream Pop set ( no longer available) from Close To My Heart, The stamps and inks are all from CTMH. The cuts are from CTMH Cricut Art Phliosophy and Artiste.

CTMH For Every Occasion - D1187

This last card is a happy coincidence :). After I cut the frames for the ovals, I turned the paper over and just loved the negative space left over. I trimmed it down to fit the A2 card base, used a Sakura Souffle Gray pen to do the stitching, Stamped the sentiment CTMH Card Chatter - Birthday - D1475 in slate, added the flower, button and twine from my stash and was done. A simple card, but I love it ! I will be watching for more of this negative space stuff !
